Increasing the test impulse setting until the GFI trips, will determine the leakage-current trip point for the GFCI under test

Easy-to-read indicator lights display wiring errors; Adjustable test impulses:; 0 mA and 3 mA trip – unit too sensitive ; 5 mA and 7 mA trip – unit acceptable; 10 mA and 30 mA trip – unit not safe
